Because Yoga has poses where you squat this is using the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles are going to be used a lot in the child birth process. Yoga also teaches you to breathe and meditate. These two things are some of the most important parts of the laboring process. Learning to meditate is going to help you relax. A relaxed body is going to respond better and a little easier than a body that is tense. Breathing properly is very important through out the whole process.
